Welcome to the Sarasota British Club website. As you browse through it, I hope you will be encouraged to become a member. We are a large group made up of ex-pats, American spouses, or individuals who have joined just because they have an interest in things British—its culture, social life and traditions. This makes the Club a diverse group with interesting and varied backgrounds, but with common interests.
Ours is a very active social Club and we usually have at least one event each month. Social activities are geared to a wide range of interests and have included, for instance, barbecues, theatre visits, horse racing, pub crawls on a trolley bus, Halloween parties, trips to polo games, parties celebrating Her Majesty‘s birthday and St. George‘s Day, cocktail parties at members’ homes and our annual Christmas Party. Importantly, we are a hospitable group and promise a warm welcome and good fun as well as marvelous opportunities for meeting new friends.

You may participate in Club activities as much or as little as you wish, but as with any endeavor, you will get out of the Club what you put into it. Our family membership fees are affordably priced at $35 annually. The fee for annual single memberships is $25. For convenience, you may complete and submit a membership application online. The monthly newsletter, Brit Club News, can be sent to you by email or directly downloaded on this site.
